JABU School Fees Schedule, Discount – 2014/15

Joseph Ayo Babalola University, JABU school fees schedule and discount allowed to students for the 2014/2015 academic session.

The authorities of the Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) have announced the amount payable as school fees by undergraduate students of the institution for the 2014/2015 academic session. They also released the caliber of students are qualified for the institution 15% discounts.
The school fees for the 2014/2015 academic session for the returning students have been fixed as follows:
1.    Science based programmes                    –    N496, 500. 00
2.    Mass Communication, Entrepreneurship and English    –    N496, 500. 00
3.    Other Art-based programmes (including management & Social Sciences)            –    N476, 500. 00
4.    Law                                –    N700, 000. 00
Payment of Fees
The University expects that fees should be paid in full before the commencement of the session on 13th October, 2014. However, in order to assist parents who may not have the capacity to pay at once, the University will, as in the past, allow payments in three installments as follows:
Before 13th October, 2014            –    a sum of N200, 000. 00 must have been paid
prior to the first Semester examinations which starts on 2nd February, 2015.
        –    additional N150, 000. 00 must be paid to
bring the total for first semester to N350, 000. 00
Before the resumption date             –    N146, 500. 00 for Science based
(9th March, 2015)  for the second             programmes, English, Mass Communication
semester, outstanding fees will become         and Entrepreneurship
due for payment           
-    N126, 500. 00 for other Art-based programmes
-    N350, 000. 00 for Law programme
We want to appeal to parents/guardians to keep to the schedule of payment as indicated above.

15% Discount on Tuition Fees

This is to inform parents who are members of the Christ apostolic Church that the closing date for receiving applications for the 15% discount on tuition fees is Friday, 13th February, 2015. The list of students whose applications are approved will be released at the end of the first semester.

Dual Degree Programme

This is to inform you that JABU has entered into collaboration with the University College of Social Sciences, Poland – an accredited European University. Through this collaboration, our students that apply for the dual degree progarmme can graduate with two degree certificates. The benefits of this programme are immense, as it increases the chances of employement on the local and international job markets; it provides opportunity to spend a semester in one of the UCSS international branches (Poland, Italy, UAE, Ukraine, Georgia and Maldora) thereby helping to build social networks all over the world. However, the one semester abroad segment is not mandatory but available to those who can afford the travel cost.
The total fee required to get additional degree from the University College of Social Sciences, Poland is N140,000.00 per session payable in three instalments as follow:
10% on admission and before registration
50% as second instalment before commencement of first semester
40% as final instalment payable before the commencement of second semester.
